Andrew Hornall

Managing Director

Andrew has spent all his life on the family farm and has been working in the family business for 30 years. In addition to leading Laxdale Foodservice Ltd, Andrew is a Director of the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society and executive council member of the board of the British Charolais Cattle Society Ltd. In addition to various business interests, Andrew’s passion is the rearing of pedigree Charolais cattle, and the Falleninch Herd is well recognised. As an experienced breeder and international judge of cattle Andrew is well placed to source meat from his own farm and other carefully selected suppliers.

Peter O’Shea

General Manager

Peter has been with Laxdale for more than 15 years, helping develop the business enormously over that time by attracting new customers, driving sales and making sure that customers are looked after. Known to many throughout the Scottish catering industry, Peter likes nothing more than striking a great deal for customers and constantly keeps on top of all the operational management activity to make sure that our customers see us as a reliable partner supporting their businesses.

Clare Spackman

Office Manager

For the last 11 years, Clare has had the unenviable task of keeping the office running smoothly. For many customers, Clare is the "voice” of Laxdale, always happy to help with orders, deliveries and all invoicing matters.

Mark Ramsay

Head Butcher

Mark leads our team of 6 skilled butchers, and has a huge level of expertise and many years experience in all aspects of wholesale and retail butchery and manufacturing. Mark ensures that Laxdale Foodservice provides customers with a consistently high level of quality meat products, including manufacturing of products to specific customer requirements. Whatever you’re looking for, whether it’s special cuts or sausages and burgers made to suit your exact needs and budget, Mark is the man to speak to. Working with Mark in the farm butchery team we have Erin Conway, John Aitken, Mark Aitken, Robert Reid, Stuart Rankin and Will Reid - all eager to deliver great products and service to our customers.

Warehouse and Delivery

Scott Calder keeps the warehouse running, making sure that our stock is carefully stored and picked so that it reaches customers in prime condition. Scott also provides support for customer deliveries wherever needed.

Stevie Drummond and Liam Watt are our dedicated delivery drivers, very much the ambassadors for our business. Customers can rely on Stevie and Liam to get their orders to them on time. They’re always happy to help get the right products to the right people and right part of customers premises at the right time.

With 30 years of business experience gained in senior corporate roles and SME business consultancy Michael supports Andrew and the team in growing and continuously improving all aspects of Laxdale’s varied business operations and future projects. Covering everything from Finance and Strategy to Retail Sales, Marketing and HR, Michael is focused on maintaining Laxdale’s competitive offerings and great customer service.
